What an official source does here

Every fact on a fragrance page is cited to a source with a tier. A house's own product page or press material is the manufacturer tier, and it is what the note list, concentration, launch year and perfumer credit are read from wherever one exists. When you send one, a person compares it with the page and, if the page changes, notes the change and the date.

What it does not do

An official source does not change the reformulation verdict on its own, and it does not change an editorial description. Formulation verdicts are drawn from counted, independent wearer reports across more than one venue, and a statement from the house is recorded beside them as what it is: the house's statement. We do not accept payment to change, soften, or remove editorial content, and we do not publish anything you send as written.

What you can send

• An official correction to a fact on a page, with the source it comes from.
• An official product page, press kit or media kit for a fragrance we list.
• A product page change: a new concentration, a renamed edition, new bottle sizes.
• A discontinuation notice.
• Permission to use an official image or asset, and the terms.
• An authorized stockist list, or a sample or discovery-set program.
• Batch or formulation evidence: a dated statement about what changed and when.

Who reads it

Submissions are read by a person at Scentorian LLC. Nothing is published automatically. If you give a contact email we may write back with a question; we do not add it to any list. A source sent by email is kept as correspondence for as long as needed to deal with it.
