These terms are between you and IPORA LLC, Utah, United States ("we", "us"), the publisher of this site. By using the site you accept them. If you do not agree, stop using the site.

These terms, including the documents incorporated below, form the entire agreement between you and us about your use of the site.

The content

This site is a reference. It is not advice, and it is not a substitute for what the maker or the retailer tells you about a product you are considering.

A published note list is the house's description of a scent. It is not an ingredient declaration or a formula. For ingredient information, check the product packaging and contact the manufacturer. Do not rely on this site to determine whether a product is suitable for an allergy or sensitivity.

No health claims

Nothing on this site says or implies that a fragrance treats, prevents, or affects any medical condition, and nothing here is a statement about what a product does to your body. Where we quote a maker's own wording, we are reporting what they said, not adopting it.

Impressions are opinion

Descriptions of how a fragrance wears are labelled as impressions. They may be summaries of counted reports, entries by a named editor or older entries without counted evidence; the page identifies the category. How we source explains the evidence behind them. Impressions are opinions, not measurements, and people may experience a fragrance differently.

Prices

Any price shown here is a snapshot with the date we checked it. It is not a guarantee or an offer and may change. The retailer's checkout price applies. No purchase contract is formed with us.

Links to other sites, and anything you buy there

We do not sell anything. A purchase through a retailer link is a contract between you and a retailer. We are not a party to that contract, an agent for either side or a reseller, and we do not control the retailer.

We are not responsible for a retailer's product authenticity, stock, descriptions, suitability, prices, shipping costs or duties; or for delivery, damage, returns, refunds, warranty or customer service. Contact the retailer about order problems. Its terms apply to your purchase, and its privacy policy applies to its handling of your data.

Our assessment and ranking of a retailer do not guarantee its service or the outcome of an order.

Paid links

Trademarks

House and product names belong to their respective owners and are used here to identify the products discussed. No affiliation, sponsorship, or endorsement by a brand is claimed or implied by that use. Affiliate relationships are disclosed separately.

Comparisons

Comparisons describe similarities and differences between fragrances. They do not assert that one is equivalent to, a replacement for, indistinguishable from, or the same as another. If we report a maker's claim of resemblance, we attribute it to the maker; it remains their claim.

Our writing, and what you may do with it

We claim rights in our original text, structure and design, not in the underlying facts.

You may read and print our content, quote a passage with a link back, and share links to our pages.

You may not republish our pages or substantial parts of them, extract our content in bulk or automatically, or use it to train, fine-tune or build a competing reference. You may not scrape the site in a way that degrades it for other readers. The machine-readable permissions at /robots.txt and /ai.txt on this domain form part of these terms.

Using the site

Do not damage or overload the site, attempt unauthorised access to it or its infrastructure, or use it unlawfully.

No warranties

This site is provided as is and as available. We make no express or implied warranty, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that content is accurate, complete or current; that a house's note list describes the ingredients in a bottle you receive; that a formulation status is correct; or that the site will be available without interruption. We review reported errors and record corrections on the affected page.

Fragrance, skin and sensitivity

Fragrance ingredients can cause allergic reactions or sensitivity in some people. A note list on this site is not a safety assessment, and we cannot determine whether a product is suitable for you. Read the product label and consult a qualified clinician about allergy or sensitivity concerns. You are responsible for deciding which products to use.

Limits on liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive or consequential loss; lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill; reactions to a product; or losses arising from a transaction between you and a retailer. Where we remain liable, our total liability for all matters connected with this site is limited to one hundred United States dollars (US$100).

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited. If you deal with us as a consumer, this section does not affect your statutory rights.

Time limit on claims

A claim connected with this site must be brought within one year after it arises, unless applicable law provides a longer period that cannot be shortened by agreement.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the publisher, its members, officers and agents from and against any claim, demand, liability, loss, damage, cost or expense, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or connected with your use of this site in breach of these terms or of applicable law, or with any content you submit to us.

Third-party rights

These terms are between you and us. No brand, house, retailer or network is a party to them and none may enforce them. Nor do these terms give you any right against them.

Intellectual property concerns

If you own rights in material you believe appears here without permission, write to [email protected] identifying the material and page. We will review the report promptly and remove the material or correct its attribution as appropriate.

Changes to these terms

We may change these terms and will update the date at the top when we do. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. Changes do not apply retrospectively.

Severability and waiver

If a clause is unenforceable, the remaining terms continue to apply, and the affected clause will be interpreted as narrowly as needed to make it enforceable. A delay in enforcing a term does not waive our right to enforce it.

Governing law and where disputes are heard

The laws of the State of Utah govern these terms, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be heard in the state and federal courts sitting in Salt Lake County, Utah, and we each agree to that.

If you are a consumer resident somewhere else, this does not deprive you of the protection of any mandatory consumer-law rule of the country you live in, or of the right to bring proceedings there where the law gives you that right.
